a tasty recipe


Mattonella al mascarpone e frutta secca

Ingredienti per 4 persone: 150 gr di pan di Spagna in 3 fette uguali,
200 gr di mascarpone,
2 uova,
70 gr di zucchero,
50 gr di noci, nocciole e mandorle spellate,
scaglie di cioccolato per decorare (oppure cacao in polvere),
strong coffee, hazelnut liqueur
or Amaretto (optional).

Separate the yolks from the whites and set them aside. Mix the yolks with the sugar, working with a hand blender until frothy and creamy.
Combine mascarpone cheese and finely chopped nuts. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add to the mixture gently.
Place a slice of sponge cake mold in a small opening with oiled and pour over the walls, a wire to deliver the best possible, a bit 'of strong coffee, to which you may put together a tablespoon of liquor.
Spread half the mascarpone cream, and then two more similar layers.
Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. Remove from the mold and decorated with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa brought down by a fine mesh strainer.
